20-Year-Old Found Injured After Back-To-Back Shots Ring Out In Worcester

Authorities are investigating after police heard gunshots in two separate areas in Worcester, resulting in one man being hospitalized.

First, police responded for a ShotSpotter activation in the area of 103 Dorchester Street just after 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 29, Worcester Police report. 

When officers arrived, they found evidence that shots were fired but there was no victim on at the scene. Minutes later, police responded to another report of gunshots at 65 Upsala Street. 

Upon arrival, officers found a 20-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was given medical attention before being taken to the hospital, police said.
